We are proud of our team members @silvia di angelantonio, @Alberto Boffi and @giancarlo ruocco, who recently joined two international events in China: JAR Innovation and Enterprise Cooperation Forum (Keqiao Series IV) at @Keqiao International Park and @Advanced Materials International Conference 2025

🎙️ In their keynote speeches, Silvia and Alberto presented preliminary results from our ROAD project, focusing on the formulation and characterization of functionalized ferritin-based nanocages loaded with a specific Tau protein ligand.

A great opportunity to strengthen collaborations 🤝 and share knowledge within the scientific community 🌍

🧬 Organoids: a promising alternative to animal testing 📰

🎤 Trend Sanità interviewed @silvia di angelantonio, who shares how in the ROAD project we are using brain and retinal organoids to gain deeper insights into neurodegenerative diseases characterized by tau protein aggregation and to develop specialized probes for early diagnosis.

These patient-derived models help us reduce (though not completely replace) animal testing and build disease models closer to human biology, paving the way for a more innovative, ethical, and patient-tailored science.
